1 Samuel 28:3

SV	Samuel nu was gestorven, en gans Israël had rouw over hem bedreven; en zij hadden hem begraven te Rama, te weten in zijn stad. En Saul had uit het land weggedaan de waarzeggers en duivelskunstenaars.
WLC	וּשְׁמוּאֵ֣ל מֵ֔ת וַיִּסְפְּדוּ־לֹו֙ כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיִּקְבְּרֻ֥הוּ בָרָמָ֖ה וּבְעִירֹ֑ו וְשָׁא֗וּל הֵסִ֛יר הָאֹבֹ֥ות וְאֶת־הַיִּדְּעֹנִ֖ים מֵהָאָֽרֶץ׃
Trans.	ûšəmû’ēl mēṯ wayyisəpəḏû-lwō kāl-yiśərā’ēl wayyiqəbəruhû ḇārāmâ ûḇə‘îrwō wəšā’ûl hēsîr hā’ōḇwōṯ wə’eṯ-hayyidə‘ōnîm mēhā’āreṣ:

AC	ג ושמואל מת--ויספדו לו כל ישראל ויקברהו ברמה ובעירו ושאול הסיר האבות ואת הידענים--מהארץ
ASV	Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.
BE	Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel, after weeping for him, had put his body in its last resting-place in Ramah, his town. And Saul had put away from the land all those who had control of spirits and who made use of secret arts.
Darby	(Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and they had buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away the necromancers and the soothsayers out of the land.)
